MWC1637-1639-Stone and May fly composite

This is a composite of 6 photos of Stone and May fly nymphs from the lower Bella Coola watershed in mid January, 2010 from shallow riffles with a gravel and cobble substrate. Water temp=2-3 Celsius. They all occupy the same habitat but difficult to gather for a group photo. Therefore the compositing. Most of these nymphs have 1-2 more months of development before emerging as flying adults.
